How would a world with magic change how people navigate scarcity? Pay the bills? Create contracts? What goods or services would be available only in a magical world? This show looks at the mundane moments of magic as humans (and non-humans alike) juggle their hierarchies of needs. Imagined Economies is an indie, volunteer-created audio drama, and the first episode and project was created as part of PodJam 2026.WHAT IS PODJAM?

Rocky Breen is a writer of speculative fiction and audio drama. They wrote the sci-fi short story, “Skyboss,” (LSQ Issue 44), and “A Gala for the Ghost Baker of Biodome 54,” in the Hauntingly Humdrum audio drama anthology.Lea Lawson is an aussie actor who currently stars in the Mass Effect actual play podcast I Should Roll, and the audio drama Appalachia: A Fallout 76 Story (and she may jump-scare you by turning up in in other audio dramas and interactive mods).Cassie Fox is based in the PNW and is in Super Duper and the upcoming Wanderlust: the musical.
